Surf Lessons Puerto Vallarta and Nuevo Vallarta, Punta Mita and Sayulita

Vallarta Explore Surf Lessons near Puerto Vallarta & Nuevo Vallarta, Bucerias, Punta Mita, La Cruz and Sayulita will introduce you to surfing step by step in the warm waters of the Pacific Ocean!

We will get you familiar with your board, go over stretching and posture and take all the time you need to be comfortable and once you are we will try a wave or two, or maybe more.

Our surf guide will pick you up at the meeting location and drive North towards Punta de Mita to one of the best spots for the day. The drive to the surfing location is about 45 minutes and so you will have plenty of time to get to know your instructor! He will also share with you valuable and interesting facts about the Banderas Bay and the small towns you will pass by.

• The lesson itself is a very personal and detailed experience. Once on the beach we will start with about 20 minute stretch targeting the areas of your body you will use during the lesson and we will go over Ocean conditions for the day.
• During the lesson your stand up technique will enhance so will your wave count. Paddling technique will maximize your wave catching, which will cultivate a hunger for surfing.
• The surf break where we share the lesson experience is ideal for learning, very forgiving, gentle surf but still enough to ride the waves.
• Vallarta Explore guides will share techniques on conserving energy and to add stamina. Then it's time for more fun.
• Ending the lesson we analyze what you did today and talk about the don'ts to help you next time you are out surfing. We hope to see you back soon!
